Greetings to all! My name is Gisselle Rocha, and my pronouns are she/hers, I was born and raised in Waukesha, WI but am a proud Chicana, and a first-generation 5th-year senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I am majoring in Legal Studies with a certificate in Chicane & Latine Studies. I have always been passionate about going to Law School and specializing in Immigration Law, especially after my parents went through the naturalization process for 7 years to obtain their residency, and soon citizenship. I am aware of the struggles that many undocumented and DACAmented people face daily, and I am eager to learn more about ways to help those in need through my work at the Center for DREAMers. My hope is to help expand the resources we offer here to all Wisconsin residents in the future, and to continue to advocate for the rights of undocumented and DACAmented individuals.
