Yuli Ruiz Márquez (she/her/ella) is a first-generation high school, college, and law student. She is a proud immigrant from Michoacán, México, and her hometown in the U.S. is Milwaukee, WI. Yuli graduated as a Burke Scholar from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Welfare and Justice. She has volunteered and worked with local and national nonprofits, serving primarily immigrant and low-income populations.
Yuli currently works with the Immigrant Justice Clinic through the University of Wisconsin Law School’s Economic Justice Institute. Her goal is to use her education to serve and give back to the communities she grew up in, and she plans to use her law degree to achieve this. Yuli supports the Center for Dreamers as an Immigrant Justice Clinical Student.
