Hello, all! My name is Karen Suárez Jiménez. I am an indigenous Mexican woman from Oaxaca, México. My family and I came to the U.S. when I was 3 years old and I spent most of my life here in Wisconsin. I went to St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI for undergrad and am now a 2L here at the University of Wisconsin Law School. I am a first-generation college student, a first-generation grad student, and am a DACA recipient. I come from a mixed-status household where I am the proud older sister of three immensely talented individuals, my sister Nancy, my brother Jesus, and my sibling Diana. My sister Nancy is also a DACA recipient. I am excited to work with the Center for Dreamers and look forward to working with the community.
